Inlet View First Public Open House

Latest news: Locally renowned, family owned business The Burrard Public House is proposing a new project in the heart of Moody Centre. Join the Dugandzic-Stipica family and the CityState Team on Monday, September 18th for our first public open house.
Our first open house is an opportunity for you, the public to engage and get involved with the new exciting project.
The Burrard Public House is a family owned and operated restaurant, located in the heart of Moody Centre. The latest incarnation of the historic Hotel Burrard has retained the original Tudor Style, which helped establish it as such a prominent Port Moody landmark. After 14 years of ownership, acting upon their own vision, and complying with heritage and sustainable guidelines, publicans and hospitable owners Damir and Darlene, have shown us what the future for Downtown Port Moody can look like.
The family has long been established in the community, known for their love of the arts community, restoring heritage and serving up some of the best food and drinks this city has to offer. Their passion doesn’t stop there; As thought leaders the Dugandzics are heavily involved with fundraising, hosting several events each year in support of a great cause. Most notably, family friends of the Michael Cuccione Foundation at children’s cancer research foundation, since its 1997 inception right here on the Mainland.
These hands-on entrepreneurs virtually live in the Burrrard. Damir Duganzic speaks for the family: "In the hospitality business, attention to details is so important. We're taking the same approach to the construction of Inlet View. We focus on quality materials, convenient parking for shoppers and visitors, security, privacy, the things people really care about."
Damir is also the hesitant spokesperson when dealing with Council: "I'm not big on public speaking; I just spelled out what our goals were and why it made sense for the community. And that's how we got the six-storey designation for the Inlet View site." Now the Dugandzic family is focused on creating housing they can be proud of right next door to their heritage building.
We look forward to hearing your input on September 18th!
