Quality in My Backyard

This series of walking tours is focused on urban design and lessons learned. You will be part of a small group taking a leisurely and highly informative walk around urban developments in Port Moody. It is a great opportunity for you to share your thoughts about urban design. Note that this is not about density, it is about design features and their impact on the quality of human experience in cities.

The next time you attend an open house and look at the pretty but confusing drawings, you will know what to look for, what works and what to ask for to get quality in your backyard.

Each tour is a 90-minute walk starting in Newport Village and ending with a refreshment in Suter Brook. Tours are guided by CityState Consulting Group Principal, Gaetan Royer.
